DESCRIPTION:The Dunbar Alumni organization is continuing its efforts to revitalize the Juneteenth celebration and generate funds for the Dunbar Alumni Scholarship fund. The event this year is scheduled for June 19\, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at First Community Baptist Church\, Hwy 59 South Leggett\, Texas\, Rev Curtis Hester\, pastor.\n\nThe celebration will begin with a program highlighting the purpose of Juneteenth\, with speakers\, choirs\, and praise dancers. The afternoon activities will include fellowship with other attendees\, games\, prizes\, food and drinks.\n\nPlease join us in this effort to celebrate and express our gratitude for the God-given freedom for all of God's people.
